Are you new to Workbook?  The following will help you to get started, from accessing the software through to becoming a seasoned user. 

Getting set up

Your license to use Workbook:  Workbook is licensed on a perpetual user basis.  In some cases Workbook is bundled with hardware, in which case the licensing will support a fixed number of installations.  Site licenses may be purchased on inquiry.  Read more about Workbook Licensing

Which version? After an initial free support period (usually a first year), accessing new versions of Workbook requires an active support subscription for the licenses held.  Read more about support subscriptions

Download Workbook from: http://update.xorro.com .  If you have your Customer Key ready, enter this into the field on the right of that page to access the version of Workbook to which you are entitled.  If you do not yet have a Customer Key (or do not know it) then you can download and access a 30-day free trial of the latest version by registering your name.  The trial converts into a permanent license on activation with a Customer Key.  

Your Customer Key: Every customer organisation has a Customer Key; this key is used to activate the licenses held by that organisation.

Installing Workbook is just a matter of running the downloaded file on your computer.   Other links which might help:

Resources

Resources package: It’s a good idea to also download and install the Resources file from the same location as Workbook downloads (http://update.xorro.com). This file provides a handy collection of freely available imagery which is very commonly needed by Workbook users.  When Resources.exe is run, it extracts the folder library into a folder in the user's /ProgramData directory.  You can choose to change this location in which case you should also change the destination to which any buttons or links in Workbook toolbars might point (see Applying customised Workbook settings to all users).  Users can add to their Resources library by dragging items off their Workbook page right into the folder, or in the conventional way of copying and pasting files between Windows locations.  In such cases appropriate user permissions are required.
